​Marathi Translation of WHO’s mhGAP Intervention Guide: Bridging the Gap in Mental Health Care

This document addresses the significant gap between the available resources & the large need for these services of mental, neurological, and substance use (MNS) disorders. Highlighting the World Health Organization's argument that many mental health interventions are not complex, it emphasizes the feasibility of delivering pharmacological and psychosocial treatments through non-specialized healthcare systems. Translated into Marathi by Ms. Seema Uplekar, this Guide empowers non-specialized health workers in Maharashtra to provide effective mental health care and bridge the gap in underserved communities.
